500 Hats and More on Squidoo...

Do you have a Squidoo page yet?
Check out my lens

I have several, and am planning to make even more.

I have listed them at the end of this article in case you want to visit (hint, hint!) Of course, I would love that, and would also love it a LOT LOT if you made a comment or rated me using the stars at the top of each lens page.

But I think you will like these Squidoo prize-winning lenses even more. Of course, after you see them, if you have time, you may also want to visit mine (hint, hint again). :-)

Here is a Squidoo link that really fascinated me yesterday. I made a note to copy it to my computer desktop so I could share it today. It has moved high up on the Squidoo lists of popularity. It is called 500 Hats. Here is the link:

http://www.squidoo.com/500hats

This person is trying to save her house from foreclosure by making winter hats. Each one is different. She already has orders for them. If you can spare $10.00 (the price of one hat) and need a hat (or not!) this is the place to go.

You can also see some other VERY fascinating Squidoo pages at the Top 100 page at Squidoo. Here that is:

If you decide YOU want to make a Squidoo page, please use this link:

Make a Squidoo Page Yourself

The reason is, it is my Squidoo Refer a Friend link. I get $5 when you make your first $15 on Squidoo. You can also get your OWN Refer a Friend link after you join.

So..... See you on Squidoo!

Yay! I figured it out!

I am so glad I finally figured out how to put a Forum on my Nontrads site. I was beginning to think I could not figure it out!

Here is the link:
http://www.nontradstudents.com/Forum/index.php

Now I want to put some other things on the forum, to personalize it more. The header needs to have part of the logo on it, plus some other links back to the site. Also, I want to add some things to the bottom.

There are some more areas at the phpBB site that talk about changing the Forum around. It will involve some study.

I went ahead and asked some members of the Yahoo group if they wanted to answer some of the posts. So things are definitely looking up after two days. :-)

Still sick, but have good medicine.

Today is the Non-trads meeting: 3:30 for officers, 4:00 for everyone. Our new advisor will be there! Should be a good meeting.

Will study this morning - Emotional Intelligence - Daniel Goleman, Learning Styles - Anthony Gregorc - and Multiple Intelligences - Howard Gardner.

My brain is mush -- but today I can breathe a little, which is better than yesterday.

The WKU Non-Traditional Student yahoo site

The NTSO (Non-Traditional Student Organization) at Western has a yahoo chat site at:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Non-trads/

There are people there to help with questions about classes and also about where the computer labs and tutoring areas are in case you need help with computers or writing.

All you need to do is get a Yahoo name and password if you don't already have one. Then you can sign up for as many messages as you want or even no messages. You can go there as often as you want and ask questions.

The group should meet soon for Spring. I am President so thought I'd share that in case there are some Non-trads in our group.
