The Secret World War II City - Oak Ridge, TN

Today was all about Oak Ridge, Tennesee, a secret city during World War II.

We went to the American Museum of Science and Energy and saw many exhibits about how the city was built and about the atomic bomb.

Oak Ridge also has a Peace Bell given to the city by Japan, that we both rang in honor of everyone who served in World War II.

We found some great shops to look at and a small restaurant called The Soup Kitchen, which we liked a lot.

What a fun day!
