Little by Little, I am getting my List done! Miscellany from KY. How are you doing? A couple of articles, posting, and more. April, 2022

Just checking in - Spring, 2022.

(Catching up.)

<Miscellany from South Central KY> I have been very busy posting books and also re-starting my blogs and checking out my websites.

I changed my name on some of them - - I am trying to make them more uniform. I also have been  writing on Facebook. And will be working on bookmarks, getting cards, remembering people, stationery, and doing some logo work.

Here is one of my older logos. This logo will be redone hopefully soon. But includes my store name for more than one site.

What else I am doing: I am currently reading the Foreigner Series by C.J. Cherryh. I love her Alliance books, too, have not read them all yet. <Reading is always on my list - it helps make my days fun>.

I'm on the "Pretender" book right now (Arc 3.) The first book was harder to get into, and I came back to it later, but now I am hooked. It's a big series, which I like, because it's so well-written, and full of side issues and surprises.

A question: what are YOU doing at this time? Here is hoping that everyone reading this blog is doing A-OK and is staying safe. For those going through things, know that I do care. Comment below this blog if you like, anytime.

Yes... (per this blog title today), I am working on my To-Do List. Posting to ALL my blogs more is on that list, for sure. It has taken awhile. I want to make this part of my schedule. Along with cooking, posting on sites and Facebook, paying down bills, keeping up with appointments, going through boxes, planting some edibles and flowers, and more.

I went to a Memorial Service for a very special person yesterday. It was Frances Hain. (Her obituary is here). She has done so much in her life. I wish I could have known her better. A note to self: NEVER forget Kleenex when going to a Memorial Service. 'Nuff said.

Things coming up: getting a small TV, making some more art, working on remembering friends and family, going through files, shredding documents, cooking, and doing some writing. Also, I am starting to get back into church and getting to know my church family better.

Here is some info. about Covid I have found lately that may be of interest:

Here is a Facebook Site to explore (not mine - but neat).  For the Love of Old Houses. It is so fun to "see inside" different houses. The ones I like best are the least expensive. Of course, you have to assume they need some major kind of work, of course. But it's fun to dream! I love old Victorian houses and some others. My husband loves one-stories, mostly 20th century ones. I told him he can stay on the ground floor of my Dream Home if he likes. (haha)

That's it for today. I hope to be doing my blogs MUCH more often now, at least one posting (hopefully more) per season, at the very least. I hope you enjoyed it. Let me know what YOU would like to see here.

Onward and Upward!

Re-starting blogs and fixing sites, more. Some goals for 2018. Happy New Year!

I guess the 1st of January spurs MANY to creating and working on goals for the year.

That's how it is with me, too, this year. It's all about lists and doing. I like that!

Did you see the SuperMoon? I will glance out for sure tonight.

I am doing needed Blog Postings today, (usually a good idea if you want to keep them - - haha...) then getting back into my usual tweeting and posting other places this year. Hopefully, I will have 100 things online (selling) for each site I am on this year. I think that will be a very good idea.

Everyone: I hope you have a GREAT New Year this year.

Keeping up with the news will be more on the back burner for me. It's been fascinating to see all the changes this year, also frightening. But I am hopeful this year will begin a time of reckoning and a return to civility and common sense in our nation.

I am especially liking the Rachel Maddow show on MSNBC for breaking stories and explanations of political events.

Ms. Maddow also has a podcast, which is handy to listen to when you can't get there in front of the TV at 8 Central to watch. Here is that link for those who want to check that out: http://www.msnbc.com/msnbc/the-rachel-maddow-show-podcast.

Those with Smarter TV's may want to watch the saved videos instead.

Back to phones: One neat thing about having a Smarter Phone is that I can access podcasts even easier. I used to have to download and upload. I love having an easier option. Auto upload and Listen skips a step and saves time.

Well, off I go to have another cup of coffee! I will be careful with it. My flip phone fell into my coffee in the car, so I was forced to "Go Smart". I did like my flip phone though. It fit into my pocket so well. ::::sigh:::: But I do like my new phone too.
