Visiting history and different cultures

This Egyptian scarab image is from the free Egyptian clipart downloads at Webweaver's Free Clipart.

Today in brief...
Today and tomorrow we plan to visit history exhibits.

The Frank H. McClung Museum is located on the campus of the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. They have a suggested donation of $2.00 which I think is a great bargain of a price.

They have a great exhibit called Ancient Egypt going on now so of course I had to go and see it. They had many statues, dioramas, jewelry, ancient tools, and much more. The gift shop was very nice, too.

We visited some fun shops here in Knoxville and saw some great art exhibits too, including one co-op gallery.

The Ali Baba deli was fascinating and served all kinds of ethnic Mediterannean and Arabic food. Next door was the Mediterranian Food Market. We also visited Apna Bazaar to get some Indian food. It was definitely another fun day.
